Blakley Electrics are proud and pleased to have won an Electrical Industry award for the second year running. This year we have won the award for our Mains Distribution Assembly equipped for temporary lighting management.

Ballylumford Power Station

Ballylumford power station is a natural gas-fired power station in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, owned and operated by AES Ballylumford Limited. With its main plant generating 600 megawatts of electricity, it is Northern Ireland's largest power station and provides half of the country's power. Overall the station produces 1316 megawatts and is located at the tip of the Islandmagee peninsula, which separates Larne Lough from the Irish Sea.

Jubilee Market - GMDAs

Construction of Jubilee Market was funded by Network Rail, who are constructing a new viaduct in Borough to increase rail capacity through London. Construction of Jubilee Market, situated just to the West of the main Borough Market, was needed as part of the existing Borough Market is temporarily closed to facilitate the construction of the viaduct.

In order to provide 230V electrical supplies for market traders and their stalls temporarily erected on the Thames walkway, the Blakley Electrics Ground Mounted Distribution Assembly (GMDA) were selected for installation by the contractor .

Mid Kent College

Blakley Electrics Ltd has recently designed and supplied a substantial electrical distribution panel to the brand new Medway Campus of Mid-Kent College. Based in Gillingham, this is an £86M new extension to this long established facility.
