Blakley Electrics Safe Supply Units (SSUs) have long been specified for use in school laboratories, where the close proximity of water and electricity present a major electrical hazard.
SSUs provide the highest level of protection against electric shock and incorporate a 1:1 ratio transformer, 1.25mA or 5mA RCD protection and a current limiting resistor which restricts the maximum level of earth leakage to 10mA at all times. Models are also available with integral DP MCB distribution arrangements, Remote Trip Facility for connection to Emergency Stop Buttons and Key Switch contol.
