When a request came for the need for outdoor supplies to feed temporary accommodation at training facilities in Nottinghamshire and Cornwall, Blakley Electrics ‘generated’ the perfect response.
The training area, which has a hard standing for tented shelter to be erected when trainees are on site, required power and lighting supplies to be quickly and safely available.
16 small galvanised outdoor pillars, designed and manufactured specifically for the project, provide 230V & 110V power & lighting circuits. Externally mounted IP44 sockets enable quick connection to the circuits, along with an isolator switch for switching off each power outlet. The pillars are rated to IP44, this coupled with the galvanised finished ensures they will be in use for many years to come.
Each galvanised pillar is hardwired to a main 125A 400V feeder pillar, fitted with 11 MCBs and pan assembly. The feeder pillar on site has the facility for being connected to a generator, This allows safe & speedy connection to electrical services. The pillars are finished in Blakley trade mark Poppy Red, applied using a zinc pre-treatment, followed by high quality powder coat finish. This combined with the use of high quality electrical distribution equipment will ensure long and reliable service, synonymous with Blakley outdoor power distribution assemblies.
