Safe Supply Units protect 230V sockets in school science laboratories.
SSUs provide the highest level of protection against electric shock and incorporate a 1:1 ratio transformer, 1.25mA or 5mA RCD protection and a current limiting resistor which restricts the maximum level of earth leakage to 10mA at all times.
