Blakley Electrics produces a standard range of IP66 rated heavy duty distribution boards for permanent installation in extremely wet or very dusty locations, designed to meet the requirements of BS EN 61439-3.
Enclosures are fabricated from heavy gauges of sheet steel with a high quality paint finish (for corrosive atmospheres enclosures can be fabricated from stainless steel). The enclosure designs have been independently type tested to prove compliance with the IP66 rating. Enclosures feature side hinged key lockable and padlockable doors, top and bottom removable gland plates, external wall fixings, document pockets, etc.
As standard, all switchgear is made by Schneider. Incomers are 2P or 4P switches supplying SP&N or TP&N Isobar P pan assemblies, which is specifically designed to accept SP&N RCBOs with Plug On Neutral (PoN), which greatly reduces on site installation time.
Pan assemblies have a conditional short circuit rating of 25kA and can be fitted with MCBs and RCBOs. Multi-service boards are also available, combining pan assemblies and unequipped DIN rail for customers to fit their own control devices.
