Slim Line Power & Lighting Transformer with RCD and MCB Protection

Slim Line Site Power and Lighting Transformer, 5kVA single-phase, developed for locations where space on site is at a premium. Manufactured in accordance with the requirements of BS4363.

Enclosure
Robust, compact, free-standing, non-vented enclosure of welded sheet steel construction, incorporating certified lifting handles. The enclosure provides protection to IP44 and has a durable, oven dried polyester powder coated finish, shade Traffic Yellow.
Enclosure Dimensions: 450W x 285D x 575H (plus lifting handle and socket protrusions to the top and sides).

110CTE providing a Reduced Low Voltage (RLV) supply

Distribution
1 no. 63A DP 300mA* 110V Type A RCCB feeding: 1 no. 16A DP Type “C” MCB feeding 2 no. 16A 2P+E 110V IP44 sockets; and 1 no. 32A DP Type “C” MCB feeding 1 no. 32A 2P+E 110V IP44 socket. Also fitted with 2 no. 10A DP MCB / 30mA DP Type A RCCB combinations each feeding a 3 way terminal block for direct connection to lighting circuits (the lighting connections can be made without removing the transformer lid). The incorporation of RCD protection ensures compliance with disconnection times on longer lighting circuits with a high Zs.
*In early 2024 we will start fitting RCCBs with a 100mA sensitivity instead of a 300mA sensitivity. During the transition period you may receive a transformer fitted with an RCCB of either sensitivity.
