LV932 Surface Mounting Socket Assembly

Approved for unrestricted installation on LUL premises, including Section 12 locations, Blakley Electrics LV932 metal clad socket assemblies are manufactured in accordance with LUL specifications. They are designed to be installed on platforms and in other locations to provide supplies for cleaning apparatus and for general maintenance.

Enclosure
The enclosure comprises of a surface mounting box and removable front plate, which are fabricated from mild steel sheet and are finished in a white, LUL approved, electro-statically applied, polyester powder paint. The front plate incorporates a hinged cover with quick release fastener, which allows access to the MCB operating dolly. The cover is finished in a yellow, LUL approved, electro-statically applied, polyester powder paint.
The enclosure provides protection to IP55 and the front plate and MCB dolly cover are both gasketted. However, the overall rating of the assembly is IP44, due to the ingress rating of the 32A metal clad socket.

Equipment
Fitted with a Schneider Electric 32A DP Type ‘C’ MCB, which feeds a 32A 2P+E 110V IP44 metal clad socket to BS EN 60309-2.
The terminals of the MCB fitted within the LV932 assembly can accommodate up to a single 25mm² cable or can be used to loop-in and loop-out up to 2 no. 10mm² cables.
