LV9R32 Surface Mounting Socket Assembly

Blakley Electrics 230V LV9R socket outlet assemblies are the 230V versions of our London Underground APR approved LV9R 110V (RLV) sockets (APR No.1935). LV9R metal clad socket assemblies are manufactured in accordance with LUL specifications and designed for installation in Section 12 locations.

Enclosure
The enclosure comprises of a surface mounting box and removable front plate, which are both fabricated from mild steel sheet and are finished in a white, LUL approved, electro-statically applied, polyester powder paint. The front plate incorporates a hinged cover with quick release fastener, which allows access to the RCBO operating dolly. The cover is finished in a white, LUL approved, electro-statically applied, polyester powder paint. The enclosure provides protection to IP55 and the front plate and MCB dolly cover are both gasketted. However, the overall rating of the assembly is IP44, due to the ingress rating of the 32A metal clad socket.

Equipment
Fitted with a 32A 1P+N 30mA RCBO which has a C curve MCB trip and a Type A RCD characteristic. The RCBO feeds a 32A 2P+E 230V IP44 metal clad socket to BS EN 60309-2.
The terminals of the RCBO fitted within the LV9R assembly can accommodate up to a single 16mm² cable or can be used to loop-in and loop-out up to 2 no. 6mm² cables.
