ELE series Type A 4P Variable RCD / Overcurrent Protection Assembly

ELE series of enclosed Modular Residual Current Device (MRCD) providing protection in accordance with BS EN 60947-2 (annex M) as required by BS7671:2018 (18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations). The assembly provides Type A RCD protection and also incorporates overcurrent protection.

Enclosure
Surface mounting, sheet steel enclosure providing ingress protection to IP44 with a durable, white, polyester powdercoat finish, oven dried. Knock-outs are incorporated in the top and bottom of the enclosure to simplify installation. Fitted with a hinged window over the MCB and RCD.
Enclosure dimensions: 364H x 266W x 133D mm.

MCB Rating
Fitted a 63A 4P Type “C” MCB with shunt-trip to BS EN 60947-2.

Supply Volts
400 volts, three-phase and neutral, 50 Hz.

RCD Protection
Fitted with an MRCD-R series sensor with sensitivity adjustable from 0.03A to 30A and time delay adjustable from 0 to 10 seconds. The sensor operates the shunt-trip incorporated within the associated MCB.

DC Immunity
The assembly is classified by Network Rail as “DC Immune” and is suitable for installation in Third Rail areas.
