800A MDA, MCCB/MCB Distribution

Mains Distribution Assembly manufactured in accordance with BS EN 61439-4 designed for arduous outdoor installations.

Enclosure
Robust sheet steel enclosure of seam welded construction, providing protection to IP44. The enclosure is free-standing, double-sided and incorporates a projecting rain roof, side hinged padlockable doors and removable gland plates for incoming and outgoing cables. A fully segregated compartment is provided for the MCB pan assembly. The enclosure is protected against corrosion by a high quality, outdoor finishing system comprising of a zinc phosphate pre-treatment followed by polyester powder coating, colour bright red (Vermilion, RAL 2002).
Enclosure dimensions: 1972W x 1789H x 688D mm.

Incoming Terminals
Fitted with a separate incoming termination chamber complete with heavy duty copper bar terminals, to enable large cross section cables to be terminated.

Incomer
Fitted an 800A 4P MCCB, padlockable in the OFF position. The MCCB can be adjusted on site from 800A to 320A.

Bus Bars
Fitted a bus bar system with a short circuit rating of 46 kA, based on our ASTA certified assembly.

Distribution
2 no. 400A 4P MCCBs each with variable Type A RCD protection. The MCCBs can be adjusted on site from 400A to 160A.
2 no. 250A 4P MCCBs each with variable Type A RCD protection. The MCCBs can be adjusted on site from 250A to 100A.
2 no. 160A 4P MCCBs each with variable Type A RCD protection. The MCCBs can be adjusted on site from 160A to 64A.
1 no. 160A 4P MCCB with variable Type A RCD feeding an integral 12W pan assembly, which is mounted within a segregated compartment.
There is space within the main enclosure for a further 4 no. MCCB / RCD assemblies to be fitted, rated up to 250A 4P.
