Automatic Mains Failure Assembly

Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) assembly designed to switch automatically between mains and stand-by generator supplies, biased to mains. The assembly is housed in a wall mounting enclosure affording protection to IP55. Optional stands and crash frames are available for free-standing applications.

Enclosure
Robust sheet steel enclosure of seam welded construction providing protection to IP55. The enclosure incorporates a projecting rain roof, side hinged padlockable door and removable gland plates for incoming and outgoing cables. The enclosure is protected against corrosion by a high quality, outdoor finishing system comprising of a zinc phosphate pre-treatment followed by polyester powder coating, shade Dark Admiralty Grey.
Enclosure dimensions: 881H x 737W x 282D mm.

Equipment
Fitted with 2 no. 4 pole contactors, mechanically and electrically interlocked to prevent simultaneous closure. The contactor ratings are 100A, AC1, and they feed a common set of outgoing terminals. The incoming supplies terminate on to heavy duty terminals and do not terminate directly onto the contactors.

The contactors are fitted with N/O auxiliary contacts, wired to terminals, enabling remote contact status indication.

Terminations
Incoming and outgoing terminals are 35mm², heavy duty, screw type.

Standard Operation
The panel incorporates a Deep Sea DSE0334 electronic module which controls the contactors, generator start signals, etc (the display is visible through a window in the main door of the enclosure). The Deep Sea module is mounted on a hinged bracket to enable easy connection of a data cable for onsite configuration.

Optional Equipment
A 16A 230V 3P auxiliary power socket can be incorporated. Please specify requirement at the time of enquiry.
