Distribution Board Extension Chamber

Extension chamber, IP66, designed to be fitted to the top and / or bottom of a Blakley Electrics, heavy duty, 125A and 200A, TP&N, MCB distribution board or multi-service MCB distribution board. The extension chamber incorporates unequipped DIN rail, which can be fitted with a range of control and protection devices.

Please note: Extension Chambers are factory fit items and cannot be purchased as loose items for the installer to fit.

Enclosure
Robust sheet steel enclosure of seam welded construction providing protection to IP66. The enclosure incorporates a side hinged, padlockable door and external fixing lugs. The enclosure is protected against corrosion by a high quality, outdoor finish comprising of a zinc phosphate pre-treatment followed by electrostatically applied and oven dried polyester powder paint, shade Dark Admiralty Grey (BS 4800 shade 18B25).
For corrosive environments enclosures can be fabricated from stainless steel, which will greatly extend the working life of the product. Please contact us for details.
Enclosure dimensions: 378H x 480W x 239D mm (plus external fixing lugs).

Capacity
The extension chamber incorporates 360mm of unequipped DIN rail (20 x SP ways). All ways are blanked off.
